# Intro to Hover

[Hover](http://hover.fi) is an institutional-focused structured product protocol allowing users to take advantage of above-market DeFi yields on top of fixed income and downside protection. Hover was built based on market feedback from industry-leading institutions, engineered by core members of a veteran team of a top 25 DeFi protocol, hosting \~$1Bn USD of TVL of client funds, which generated over $100Mn USD in 2021 protocol revenue.
